It was my privilege to interview Dr. JohnLukyamuzi on my weekly half-hour interview program, "Public Report." I was impressed with his sincerity, honesty, and positive attitude as we talked about his life's experiences in Uganda and here in America ..He is a most compelling person, passionate about his beliefs, and dedicated to making life better for his family and those who come into contact with him. I believe that the persecution he suffered in Uganda has uniquely prepared him for ministering to the needs of people around the world. It's unfortunate that a person like John has had to go through that kind of "training," but he is more effective and successful because of it.

Out of a prayer gatherings started in 2000, Christian Faith Ministries was born in 2003. John Lukyamuzi is a prayer intercessor.
Originally from Uganda , John lived under the bloodthirsty regime of Idi Amin who terrorized the nation and killed more than a half million men, women, and children. His father never went to school. His mother had a fourth grade education. Three of his four siblings died due to the Catholicism and witchcraft practiced by his parents. He grew up without electricity or indoor plumbing; walking two miles barefoot just fetch water for his family. Attending school meant walking six miles each way.
Fighting became a way of life for him due to being raised in witchcraft, strict Catholicism, the family owning a tavern, and other relatives being strict Moslem. Even becoming a staunch Catholic and giving serious thought to enter the Catholic seminary, John’s future looked bleak. Jesus took this angry, young man and turned him around. He was first exposed to Americans at the age of fifteen and a dream was born. Setting a goal to come to the United States while still in boarding school bloomed into American citizenship.
Vernon Rayner, a christian brother was attending Makerere University as a science major in Kampala, Uganda. He was teaching a Bible class. When one of John’s friends attended this class and then asked John to join in. The love expressed through Vernon via simple acts of kindness such as rides and taking time to listen to John. John had already quit school due to lack of monies, lack of confidence, and a negative background. Vernon persuaded him not to give up but to go back to school.
At first, he did not want to attend due to having to associate with Protestants, John began to attend this class due to some gifts that were being offered at certain stages of completion. His goal was to sell these items and get money. (John’s entrepreneur spirit was beginning to show.)
Then one day in 1968 Vernon asked him to attend a youth meeting being held by an evangelist, Festo Kivengere. This was the first time John heard that, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”, 2 Cor. 5:17. This struck John to his heart and he began a new life with Jesus Christ that day as he surrendered all. Little did he know, this would be the beginning of an overcoming life God has called him to.
John’s background includes: stock trading, investing, consulting, developing cost effective strategies, diversity training, marriage and individual coaching, along with motivational and inspirational training seminars.
John is currently the founder, host, and executive producer of: “All Is Well” radio program.
